WhoPays (Korean name 누가얼마, "the app") handles only the information needed to log trip expenses and calculate who owes whom. It does not send that information to any server or collect it.
None. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no server storage. Trip names, the names of the people you traveled with, and expenses are stored only on your device (browser local storage). No one, including the developer, can access them.
"Share trip as a link" compresses the trip name, participant names, and expenses into the link itself. That data lives in the hash part of the link (after #), so it is never sent to or logged by a web server. Anyone you send the link to can view its contents. A link is only created when you choose to share.
Trips, members, and expenses are stored in your browser's local storage. Deleting a trip in the app removes its data. Clearing site data or uninstalling the app removes everything. Backup files you create with "Save backup" are saved only to your device.
The app uses no ad SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking scripts.
Because the app collects no personal data, it can be used at any age.
